The Southern New England Chapter of PMI is actively monitoring the situation regarding the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) around the world and in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. The well-being of our members, volunteers and guests remains our top priority. We will continue to follow the relevant guidelines provided by the CDC, the World Health Organization (WHO) and our state and federal government authorities regarding the proper management of this issue and we will adapt our response as the situation evolves.
SNEC will inform attendees, volunteers, guests and other relevant parties in case of cancellation, rescheduling or a move to virtual delivery of any of our scheduled Chapter activities via email, web site and social media postings. We will primarily provide virtual delivery of Chapter activities until further notice. To ensure that we continue to provide our members and guests with a safe and healthy environment, we ask our attendees to follow the guidelines outlined by the CDC and WHO, and stay home if you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms. By doing so, we are not only protecting our attendees, but also our own families, friends and colleagues.
Most importantly, our thoughts are with those already dealing with the virus. We hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.
