Supports the CFO and the chapter in management of the chapter's finances including providing budget reporting, auditing, policy, and annual planning.

Create plans and toolkits to develop BOD members that address leadership and strategic planning.

PMI Education Foundation Pilot

Partner with PMI EF (Educational Foundation) and better understand offerings as it relates to scholarships and grants.

Mentoring Committee

Provide mentoring services including the pairing of Mentors and Mentees, training events for Mentors/Mentees, and support teams during the mentoring cycle.

Member Services

Increase awareness of membership value and include improvement
initiatives from Voice of the Membership. Work is aligned with the strategic objectives of the chapter.

Non-Profit Outreach

Works with non for profit organizations to share project management skills and education.

Facilitate the recruitment of volunteers through listing open volunteers positions, recruitment at SNEC events, coordinate placement, and volunteer recognition.

Professional Development

Programs Committee

Committed to continued learning, SNEC offers regular professional development meetings throughout the year in the form of breakfast and dinner meetings.  Events are held throughout Hartford (Cromwell, East Hartford), Fairfield (Shelton and Stamford) and New London counties as well as Springfield MA.

Deliver a high quality one day conference and half day in-depth workshops to provide SNEC membership with the opportunity to develop professionally,

Provide Project Management training to aspiring and experienced PMs in order to enable them to enhance their skills and knowledge and attain credentials.

Special Events

Develop educational and profession-enhancing events and create opportunities for SNEC members and non-members to strengthen social networks in order to reinforce the value of being an SNEC member.

Communications

Marketing compiles and works with Website support to distribute a monthly newsletter and hold regular monthly meetings as well as special bulletins and events to share information with and among our members.

Support SNEC-PMI in its obligations to sponsors including home web page promotion, email blast promotion, sponsor listings, policy levels, and activities supported by sponsors.
