Genevieve has ten years experience in the financial services and has been a volunteer for SNEC for the past 5 years. She is currently the VP for the Annual SNEC Conference (2013 and 2014). Her aspiration for the SNEC Annual Conference is to create a Tradition of Excellence, where project managers and project management enthusiasts share their experiences and learn from thoughts leaders. It is bold, but Genevieve believes our SNEC Chapter and our members (and members to-be) have the power to create a tradition that will be the envy of all other local Chapters. At work, she leads a team of ten professionals and owns the Customer Relationship Management Application, servicing almost 2,000 users. Genevieve's role expands over the entire enterprise supporting multiple business and teams, and she has to navigate a complex ever-changing organizations.
Genevieve excels at building new relationships and partnerships, is a fast learner and extremely dedicated team member. Her management experience has thought her many things, but she always go back to one fundamental truth: People. Genevieve cares tremendously about employee/volunteer satisfaction and engagement, and believes that 'happy' people drive the best performance and quality. This is as true for work as it is with volunteer and membership benefits. People need to feel valued, appreciated, and need to be part of a culture that provides that. She believes the Board of Directors, a sustainable volunteer base and engaged members are key to creating this ideal culture.
