New Member Orientation Continues

On July 24, 2025, the Membership Committee hosted a New Member Orientation (NeMo) at historic J. Timothy’s Taverne in Plainville, CT. The evening brought together new members, volunteers, and chapter leaders for an engaging session filled with learning, networking, and lively conversation.

Chris Zack, Vice President of Membership, delivered an engaging presentation that introduced attendees to the spectrum of resources available through PMI and the SNEC.  From educational programs and certification pathways to mentorship opportunities and upcoming chapter events, Chris’ overview helped members understand how to make the most of their PMI journey.

Participants especially valued the information provided and expressed interest in more in-person networking events, job fairs, and roundtable discussions to help foster peer learning and professional growth.

Overall, the July NeMo was informative, enjoyable, and served as a great way to welcome new members into the SNEC-PMI community. If you are a new member and missed this session, we encourage you to join us at the next NeMo to learn, connect, and make the most of your membership.
