The Latest News from the SNEC-PMO Agilist Outreach Committee
As mentioned in the last quarterly newsletter, the SNEC-PMI Agilist Outreach Committee is off and running, and we are here to expand the ways SNEC-PMI supports members who are interested in Agile or hybrid environments.
In recent months, we have placed a focus on planning our first in-person event, targeting Spring 2026. Highlighted in the Milestones & Momentum section of this newsletter, keep an eye out for more details to come!
Additionally, we are working hard to launch our own Agilist Outreach website. This will allow our team to provide regular updates on what the team is working on. Items will include details on upcoming events, publications of material we are working on, or trainings to look out for specific to all things Agile. Our website will also be an avenue for our committee to gather feedback from all of you. Our goal is to host surveys and gather insight on what information most interests all of you!
To kick things off, we have started drafting our Foundational Beliefs for Agile Outreach. Please review what the team has compiled thus far. A more formal write-up will be published and made available on our website soon.
Foundational Beliefs for Agile Outreach
We believe:
- Agile project managers bring essential value.
- Incremental and iterative are fundamental project lifecycle concepts.
- "Pure agile" is not the goal.
- Agile requires continuous attention.
- Context matters more than frameworks.
